APET has the following advantages:
1. Light specific gravity: PET has a specific gravity of 1.33, PVC has a specific gravity of 1.38, and PET is 3.7% lower.
2. High strength: The strength of PET film is more than 20% higher than that of PVC film, and it has better low-temperature impact resistance. It can withstand -40°C without brittleness. Therefore, it is usually 10% thinner to replace PVC.
3. Good folding resistance. PET film does not show self-cracking creases like PVC, and is more suitable for surface decoration such as documents.
