PP sheet uses polypropylene resin as the main raw material. Various process masterbatch toughening agents and brighteners are added, and the products are produced by mixing, plastic plasticizing extrusion, three-roll calendering, cooling, pulling, winding and other processes. PP sheet has the characteristics of non-toxic, odorless, hygienic, high mechanical strength, high temperature resistance, corrosion resistance, etc. It can be processed into various products through the thermoforming blister process. Mainly used in the packaging of food, medicine and medical equipment. Processed into jelly boxes, dairy product packaging boxes, fast food boxes, cold drink containers, trays, microwave oven appliances, etc., which can be used in food packaging. It can be processed into blister and can be used for the packaging of solid preparations such as tablets and capsules.

1. Density
PP sheet has the smallest density among all sheets, only 0.90-0.93g/cm3, which is about 60% of the density of PVC. This means that more quantities of the same volume of product can be produced from the same weight of raw material.

2. Thermal properties
Among the five general-purpose plastics, PP has the best thermal stability. PP plastic products can work for a long time below 100 °C, and PP products will not deform when heated to 150 °C without external force. After the nucleating agent is used to improve the crystallinity of PP, its heat resistance can be further improved, and microwave heating food containers can be made.

3. PP has a certain permeability to oxygen, carbon dioxide and water vapor, which is obviously different from nylon (PA) and polyester (PET). For high-barrier plastics, such as PVDC and EVOH, the difference is large. But with other non-plastic materials, its air tightness is quite good. By adding barrier materials or coating barrier plastics on the surface, its air tightness can be greatly improved.
