High barrier packaging, that is, packaging materials with high barrier, the application and progress of the current industrial or industrial production prospects of the barrier materials are mainly PVDC, EVOH, PEN, nitrile resin, polyamide, etc..PVDCPVDC (polyvinylidene chloride) is characterized by low transmittance, barrier resistance and chemical resistance.
EVOH has always been the most used high barrier material.The film types of this material in addition to non-tensile type, there are bidirectional tensile type, aluminum evaporation type, adhesive coating type, etc., bidirectional tensile type and heat resistant type for aseptic packaging products.
The barrier property of EVOH depends on the content of ethylene. Generally speaking, when the content of ethylene increases, the barrier property of gas decreases, but it is easy to process.
EVOH is characterized by excellent barrier property and excellent processing property for gas, and excellent transparency, gloss, mechanical strength, elasticity, abrasion resistance, cold resistance and surface strength.
In the field of packaging, EVOH is made into a composite film intermediate barrier layer, which is used in all hard and soft packaging.Used in the food industry for aseptic packaging, hot cans and cooking bags, packaging dairy products, meat, canned fruit juices and condiments;In the non-food, used for packaging solvents, chemicals, air conditioning components, gasoline drum lining, electronic components, etc.In terms of food packaging, plastic containers of EVOH can completely replace glass and metal containers. Many domestic aquatic products companies export seafood using PE/EVOH/PA/RVOH/PE five-layer co-extrusion membrane vacuum packaging.At the same time of accelerating the research of EVOH composite film, the tensile orientation of EVOH is also being studied abroad. The barrier property of the new EVOH film to gas is 3 times that of the existing high performance non-tensile EVOH film.In addition, EVOH can also be used as a barrier material coated on other synthetic resin packaging materials to enhance the barrier performance.Our mainly products with EVOH is food package, the structure of our EVOH products normally in five layers or six layers, PP/EVOH/PP, in order to more convenient for sealing in our customer side, we usually add more PE layer for basic of sealing.
