Light blocking PS (Polystyrene) sheet is manufactured with special light-blocking pigments or additives incorporated into the polymer during extrusion. These additives prevent the transmission of visible light and, in some cases, UV radiation. By controlling the opacity and color of the sheet, the material effectively shields packaged products from light exposure, which can otherwise cause degradation, discoloration, or loss of nutritional and functional properties.
