Anti-fog PET plastic sheet production process

The production process of anti-fog PET plastic sheet mainly includes the following steps:

Raw material preparation: Dry, mix, color and other pre-treatments of PET raw materials.

Extrusion molding: The prepared PET raw materials are melted and plasticized at high temperature, and then extruded into PET sheets through a mold.

Surface treatment: The surface of the PET sheet is hydrophilically modified or nano-coated.

How to make PET plastic sheet anti-fog

The anti-fog principles of anti-fog PET plastic sheet are mainly the following two:

Water vapor spreads evenly on the surface of the material to form a thin liquid water film. Light can penetrate the water film, thereby achieving the anti-fog effect.

Surface treatment: Different surface treatment methods have different anti-fog effects. For example, the anti-fog effect of hydrophilic treatment is better, but the wear resistance is poor; the anti-fog effect of nanotechnology treatment is long-lasting, but the cost is higher.

Additives: Different anti-fog agents have different anti-fog effects. For example, polyethylene glycol has a better anti-fog effect, but poor high temperature resistance; glycerol has better high temperature resistance, but the anti-fog effect is slightly inferior to polyethylene glycol.
