PP plastic sheet production process

It is produced by multi-layer co-extrusion equipment, adding process color masterbatch toughening agent and brightener, and is produced by mixing, plastic plasticizing extrusion, three-roll calendering, cooling, pulling, winding and other processes.

PP plastic sheet properties

● PP plastic sheet has smooth surface, wear resistance and heat resistance, high mechanical strength, chemical stability, excellent electrical insulation, stress crack resistance, hard but flexible.

● Lightweight. PP sheet has the smallest density among all sheets, only 0.90-0.93g/cm3, which is about 60% of the density of PVC.

● PP plastic sheet is non-toxic and tasteless, and can be recycled. It does not produce toxic and harmful gases when heated or burned, and is a green and environmentally friendly packaging material.

● Among the five general-purpose plastics, PP has the best thermal stability. PP plastic products can work for a long time below 100 °C, and PP products will not deform when heated to 150 °C without external force. After using a nucleating agent to improve the crystallinity of PP, its heat resistance can be further improved, and even microwave heating food containers can be made.

● PP has a certain permeability to oxygen, carbon dioxide and water vapor. By adding barrier material or coating barrier plastic on its surface, its air tightness can be greatly improved.
