The random arrangement of polystyrene macromolecular chains with benzene rings as side groups and large volume
with benzene rings as side groups determines the physical and chemical properties of polystyrene, such as high transparency High rigidity.
High glass transition temperature. Brittleness. Expandable polystyrene is made by impregnating a low-boiling physical foaming agent in ordinary polystyrene.
It is foamed by heat during processing and is specially used to make foam plastic products.

Rigid High Impact Polystyrene roll is a copolymer of styrene and butadiene, butadiene is a dispersed phase, which improves
the impact strength of the material, but the product is opaque.
Syndiotactic polystyrene has a syndiotactic structure and is produced using a metallocene catalyst.

This Rigid High Impact Polystyrene roll adds micron-sized rubber particles and connects the polystyrene and rubber particles together by grafting.
When impacted, the stress at the tip of the crack propagation is released by the relatively soft rubber particles. Therefore, crack propagation is hindered, and impact resistance is improved.
