How is PP sheet produced

PP sheet is made of PP resin through the process of beer, pressing, edge cutting and other processes, with light weight, smooth surface, good heat resistance, high mechanical strength, excellent chemical stability and electrical isolation, non-toxic and other characteristics, can be made into beverage cups, food boxes and other daily necessities after the hot molding.

Molding performance of PP sheet

1. The crystalline material has small hygroscopic property, and is prone to melt rupture. It is easy to decompose in contact with hot metal for a long time.

2. Good liquidity, but large shrinkage range and shrinkage value, easy to produce shrinkage cavity, dent, deformation.

3. Fast cooling speed, casting system and cooling system should slowly heat, and pay attention to control the molding temperature.The direction of material temperature low is obvious.Low temperature and high pressure is especially obvious, mold temperature is lower than 50 degrees, plastic parts are not smooth, easy to produce welding defects, marks,90 degrees or more prone to warped deformation.

PP sheet is polypropylene plastic, specific gravity :0.9-0.91 g/cm

Molding shrinkage rate :1.0-2.5% molding temperature: 160-220¡æ.

Small density, strength stiffness, can be used in about 100 degrees.With good electrical performance and high frequency insulation is not affected by humidity, but at low temperature, brittle, die – resistant easy to aging.

Suitable for making general mechanical parts, corrosion resistant parts and insulation parts.
